How to Limit Hop Alerts by Price

Good news - today we rolled out the first phase of our brand new Hop Alert filters. Now you can limit Hop Alerts by price and/or crop year.

These filters are global (apply to all of your Hop Alerts) until our next code push, at which point you’ll be able to set different filters for each variety. Additional filters (T90, package size, etc.) and functionality are also coming soon.

What’s the optimal Hop Alert filter setting? I’m setting mine to $15, here’s why:

Where are the deals?

Everybody likes a bargain, right? The best priced hops tend to sell shortly after the Hop Alert goes out, but every now and then you’ll find some sleeper deals by browsing The Exchange. Here are a few current listings priced competitively vs. historical prices.
